The ‘Tee for Tee’ Initiative

Wiloh has teamed up with Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc. (K.I.D.S) to help children through our ‘Tee for Tee’ Initiative. For every tee purchased from Wiloh, a child in need will receive a brand new sustainable graphic tee through K.I.D.S., designed by one of our very own featured designers.

This Month's Featured Designer - Tokyo Candies

The designer behind Tokyo Candies, Rubens Cantuni, is a self-taught Italian artist who fell in love with the city of Tokyo and Asian culture. He was recently named one of the ten most influential emerging talents of 2010 by Digital Artist Magazine. The Tokyo Candies 'Love Balloon Bear' t-shirt was designed specifically for children in Haiti. Cantuni, the artist, wanted to make a design that radiates "childhood and happiness".

Raising eco-awareness

IEach tee that goes out to the children is printed on eco-friendly organic cotton using water based inks, with easy-to-understand information about environmental awareness included. By informing children about the environment at an early age, we increase the likelihood that they will make sustainable choices in the future.

Why K.I.D.S

K.I.D.S brings hope and self-esteem to children in need and their families by providing new products through a network of more than a thousand agencies. These agencies serve children affected by natural disasters, youths in poverty-stricken communities through homeless shelters, foster-care facilities, hospitals, relief organizations, food banks and other programs in the U.S. and abroad. Since 1985, K.I.D.S has reached out to more than 64 million children in need by distributing more than a half billion dollars worth of new merchandise.
